Pure LOVE!

Dearest family, friends, and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ,

Devin has had quite a restful day after yesterday and all that he went through with the removal of the ventilator. He rested much of the day, his vitals remain stable, and is continuing to breathe on his own. With all this going on we think that he is teething! Katy says he has been gnawing on her finger all day and she can see his heart rate on the monitor go down so maybe that gnawing is helping to relieve his teething pain. Katy spent much of her day with him and resting next to his bedside.

This evening we received the MOST amazing photo of Devin and Katy and it brought tears to our eyes. The moment that she had been waiting for has finally happened. She got to hold her precious little boy in her arms and cuddle and snuggle him. Ü


With such an amazing update this evening we would like to send everyone our heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Adams family. They are truly amazed at the overflowing love, support and prayers from everyone all over the world. To know that people are praying for their sweet boy all over the world is completely incredible. The power of prayer is amazing and we know that God has big plans for this little boy. His life has touched so many people and we are thankful for those that are emotionally invested in his story and well being.

We want to thank you so much for all of the incredible donations we have received thus far. For complete strangers to not only be praying but also financially supporting Katy and Devin is just beyond our comprehension. We cannot express how grateful we are to those of you who have remained devoted prayer warriors and to those who have also been able to financially assist Devin and Katy.

We understand and want to ease your concerns regarding the fund that has been established for Devin. This fund is the ONLY secure trust fund that has been legally established for Devin and these funds will be solely used for his individual care. Please be assured that we take this very seriously and completely understand your concerns. Should you feel compelled to donate to Devin, please know that we are ever so grateful for anything that you can bless this little boy with.

This blog has been established and is being maintained by close family friends to Katy and the Adams family. With regards to the information that is presented on this blog, ALL updates, photographs and details regarding Devin's condition are strictly coming from Katy. The information is being solely conveyed through Katy from the doctors and nurses. Please know that we try our hardest to update you all as quickly and as accurately as possible and we are honored that you are so invested in our blog and Devin's recovery!

Please continue to pray for Devin as he continues his fight, and for his Mommy Katy. She has stayed in constant prayer by his side this entire time. Sleeping in a chair beside him, thanking God and cherishing every single moment she has with her little boy. She is SO grateful for all your support and feels the love that you all have sent to her during this difficult time.
