Happy evening!

Praise the Lord... Devin has his ventilator OUT!! Doctors were able to successfully remove his ventilator and he is breathing on his own! His respiration's are good and his levels are normal!

He also had the EEG and one of the tubes in his brain removed. The brain drain is turned off, but still remains attached in case they need to turn it back on.

We got to visit the little guy tonight, held his little hands and whispered sweet words of encouragement to him. He looks good! His swelling has decreased and he continues to make progress daily.

Katy is truly AMAZING, she is SO strong, very inspiring and has the purest most genuine love for her little boy. They are meant for one another and beyond blessed to have each other. She radiates LOVE for her little boy and has not left his side! Before long, hopefully later this evening or tomorrow she will be able to wrap her arms around her precious son and hold him in her arms for the first time in a week. This is THEE moment that she has been waiting for.

Please continue to pray for this amazing woman, pray that she gets to hold her baby soon, pray for her strength and well being. Pray for Devin and his continued progress and for his recovery.

Thank you ALL so very much!
God Bless Ü

  4. Thank you Lord, for this precious boy & his beautiful Mommy! When you placed Devin in her arms as her baby, you knew this would be a LOVE that would touch the hearts of MANY along the way! <3 Because your Love oh Lord, reaches to the heavens & your FAITHFULNESS stretches to the sky! Your righteousness is like a mighty mountain, your justice flows like the oceans tide.

Katy, you are AMAZING!! I admire your strength, the strength you have given to your baby. He gathers it from YOU!

Grandma Robin, I haven't stopped thinking of you & praying for you. You have always had a special place in my heart because your smile radiates with Gods Love. I can only imagine the heartache you must be enduring as you see your grandbaby this way. But my prayer for you is that the memories you have of playing, giggling & sharing Grandma moments, will stay close to your heart & make you smile... Until you are playing & smiling again :-) Its obvious he ADORES his Grandma! Sit by his bed & remind him of all those special times together... Talk to him about the memories yet to be made, of making Christmas cookies, going for a Happy Meal & Playing at the park... That will give something to look forward to :-).I love you Robin & wanted to give you these words of encouragement because God nudged my heart that you needed it. Much love your way Adams Family <3 Love, Melissa XOXO

  5. What a gift that we take for granted...holding our children. Katy, your strength comes because our Father in heaven has been holding you throughout this entire event. Soon you will be able to hold your child. Love is such a unique gift that life has for us. Your love for Devin is a beautiful reflection of the Lord's love for his children. Joshua 1:5 says, "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." I'm happy that these have been more than words for you...they are truth. Continue to lean on His everlasting arms. We love you dearly.

We are so happy to read this post! Our Family sends our deepest amount of Strength & Love young man. I received a text from my girlfriend to read your post (since she was in tears of joy about the good news) and after doing so I wanted to post you a message.... So here it is.. Yesterday - my Daughter (Ciara 8 months old) and I stopped by the Loma Linda Children's Hospital to give to your Incredibly Strong Mom, then to give to you a Dalmatian Dog stuffed animal.... it's one of Ciara's favorites (besides Tigger) & I'm sure you have your favorite too! :-)) I'm sure it'll make it's way to you through a family connection. Also, we are sooo excited to see You and your Mom's <<<1st BiG HuG>>> which will make so many people happy! So, if there's anything we can do 4 you young man - please let us know & we'll help - we live not to far!

Much <3 to you Devin & we'll see you soon!
