A Mother's Love

Love is patient; love is kind. Love is not jealous; is not proud; is not conceited; does not act foolishly; is not selfish; is not easily provoked to anger; keeps no record of wrongs; takes no pleasure in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth; love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
I Corinthians 13:4-7.

There is no greater love than that of a mother to her child. Today was a beautiful representation of how much Katy loves her son. Katy was granted a supervised visit with Devin today! She was able to visit her precious little boy for a short period time, which was filled with LOVE, cuddles, smiles and joy. Katy says that Devin is doing very well, continues to thrive and is continuing to be her miracle boy.

Katy was able to meet the foster caregiver and her husband and feels confident that they are taking wonderful care of her little boy. While this was such a blessing and joyous day, it still brings heartache and devastation to the Adams family. To have to get up and walk away from her little boy has caused more pain than most of us can ever imagine.

Please pray for Katy. Pray that the Lord will provide her the strength and courage she needs to get through this difficult time. Please pray for Devin's safety and his continued healing and for the amazing caregivers that are caring for him. And wholeheartedly pray for a quick resolve to this devastating situation and that Devin and Katy will be reunited soon!

Thank you all for your beautiful, heartfelt and comforting comments and words. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by such positive and encouraging people.

May you all be blessed this evening...

Good night Ü

  3. Hallelujah!!! Through tear filled eyes, I was so touched by the picture of Katy & Devin <3 He was right where he belonged! I haven't stopped thinking about the both of them since I heard the sad news on Tuesday. My heart broke for her & with her as I imagined her heartache. Seeing this picture gives me HOPE! That they will be reunited again soon. Many prayers sent to Katy, Devin & Adams family! Keep the Faith, strength, peace & hope! Blessings, Melissa.xoxo

  4. Thank you Lord for answering prayers once again. Not sure what the bigger plan is but through all the pain you give glimpses of your never ceasing love and grace and show that even in awful times there is still joy to be had. This post is such a relief but prayers continue non stop.

Continue to have faith everyone and continue to pray for healing, strength and resolution.

"For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20.

    Praising his name!

  7. I must remark how incredible it feels to go on to this blog and witness so many people committed to this child's wellbeing. You are all extraordinary in your faith, in your understanding hearts and have the grace to be a good person at all times...regardless of circumstances. We continue to raise our hearts to the Lord that he finds little miracles in our precious little man daily (yes he is yours as well as you have wrapped him in your heart for whatever reason is made known to you). One day I will help write this story. I have lived it from the moment it began. I want to get it right so that each person involved will get their just due. May take me awhile...but a promise for this miracle boy to hold onto and teach us how to do all the right things...Sorrow...for now a bottomless pit....Hope...well, that is eternal...grief, anger tears, drama, heartache, questions, near hysteria, calm and peace...let's shake that about as well. One of these days I would love to hear your words, feel you raw emotions and give you all a chance to say your say. It means everything to spell it out and share a world of thought this deep. Wishing you the kindness of days and the most peaceful hearts. DEVIN my Man...stay well, stay safe and be ready to rock your life You are pure love little man xo

  8. I am unknown to the Adams family but have met Devin's father and family. I see both sides and I stayed neutral for only a bit. If one is astute at all, and understanding the grace of God, one sees far...very far... I wish you peace Devin Adams. Be strong, fight hard and show these cold hearted souls that you wish to remain in the arms of those who really see you as you are. Good luck Adams family. God be with you. You are tough and you will outshine us all.

  9. Katy, you are wonderful. It is so great to see you with your boy and I am SO grateful you have peace with his caregivers right now. I am praying daily for this to be resolved quickly and fairly. You are stronger than I think I could ever be.

  10. I pray that in this time of need that prayers for Devin's healing and recovery continue and that each prayer warrior stays committed. Everyone of you has had a hand in the power of his healing. I pray that the family continues to stay strong and fight the good fight and know they have placed themselves in the Lord's hands. I pray that our judicial system will see this through with efficiency and speed. And lastly I pray that each one of us while busy in our own lives doesn't step away to far from this miracle boy and family. They need everyone now as much as before. Bless you all.
