Long time no see! We hope that you are all doing well and your lives are being abundantly blessed.
I talked to Katy tonight and am excited to give you an update on Devin!!
He is doing WONDERFULLY!!! Ü
He is making great progress, he started crawling last week and just a couple of days ago he has started to WALK around the coffee table! PRAISE THE LORD.
Katy took Devin in for a check up yesterday and blood results concluded that his infection is gone. NO more antibiotics and he is infection FREE!
Overall life is good, Katy is enjoying have her little man back and loves seeing him progress daily. They currently have an in home nurse that comes and visits everyday and spends a lot of time with Devin working on his rehibilitation and therapy. They enjoy going for walks and the family just loves her. This has been such a blessing for Katy and the rest of the family and they are so grateful for her dedication to Devin.
We will continue to provide you updates and can not begin to thank you for your constant prayers and support! We hope to have some new pictures of the little man soon and are hoping to get a video of the little miracle baby in action!!

It does my heart good
Thank you friends especially Aunt Becky and Aunt Joanne Blank. Glad you got to see the new pictures. More in the mail. God is doing a great work in Devin and in all of us. Devin has the sweetest spirit and that little smile just brightens our world. Never cries or fusses. Just happy and kissing all the time. He is getting around so much now, he is eating and sleeping so much better. The Dr. offered Devin a new skull but the new skull would not grow and his head would be deformed when he grew up. We chose the bone doner procedure, that is done through the years. Marcia Pine came and brought her famous Chocolate chip cookies today. Aunt Lorrie came over today and helped us clean up the house.Spent a great weekend with Nana Diane and Pappa John Forster. A great support team for our family. Our neighbors the Parchens, Halberts, Chico's, Van Der Heydens and Larry have been wonderful neighbors and very supportive of Devin. Devin will have his village to be raised in. Things are getting more normal around her now as Devin is progressing so, Katy is feeling better my surgery is healing and Dick is having a better school year. And thank you to our new nurse Velma who dotes on Devin and is really walking him. We have had a good week. Love & thanks to all, Nannie
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say that reading this update put such JOY in my heart <3 I have continued to keep Devin & Katy in my prayers and its such a blessing to know he's doing so well!!!!! He is such a handsome little man & his smile is so soft & sweet! Keep up the good work Devin. We are all so very proud of you!! And Katy & Robin, Im so happy you have such a great support system with the Forster & Jones families. They truely are such good hearted people and everyone who knows them, has been touched by them ;-)
